I worked on finished lesson 8 and starting lesson 9 on the Photoshop CC 2015 One-on-One: Fundamentals video lessons.
MAKING EVEN MORE COLOR WITH VIBRANCE
First I went to the Adjustments panel and alt clicked the Vibrance option and made a new layer called noiseless color. Then I clicked the color! layer and the properties panel came up and I changed the saturation value 80 to 60.
Then I went back to the noiseless color layer and changed the saturation to 70, and the vibrance to 60.
CREATING A QUICK-AND-DIRTY SEPIA-TONE EFFECT
I created a new layer, called sepiatones, by alt clicking Hue/Saturation in the Adjustments panel. The properties panel came up and I checked the colorize box on. I changed Hue to 40 and Saturation to 20.
Then I alt clicked Brightness/Contrast, in the Adjustments panel, and made a new layer bolder. I then changed brightness to -20 and contrast to 60.
I went and alt clicked Hue/Saturation and made a new layer called undersea and in the properties panel I checked in the Colorize box, changed the Hue to 240, and the Saturation to 25.
I deleted the vibrance layer and went to the properties panel and checked on the Colorize box, changed the Hue to 270, and Saturation to 40.
I then alt clicked Brightness/Contrast and made a new layer called bolder. Then changed Brightness to -20 and contrast to 60.
LESSON 9- MAKING SELECTIONS: USING THE GEOMETRIC TOOLS
I first elected the Elliptical Marquee Tool but then I had to find the center of the image and so…
I went to the View menu and selected New Guide and then horizontal and changed the pint to 50%, I did the same thing again but chose vertical instead. Then I alt dragged from the center and just selected the circle planet, Mars.
Then I copied the selected part and pasted it in the main background photo, El Valle la Luna.
